Is SponsorBridge free for sponsors?

Yes. Sponsors create a free account and can browse all clubs without any charge. When purchasing a package by card, the sponsor pays the package price only — Stripe's processing fee (1.75% + $0.30) is deducted from the club's payout. Sponsors can optionally cover the fee at checkout so the club receives the full package amount. Clubs that offer a direct deposit option allow sponsors to pay by EFT with no processing fee at all.

What is the payment processing fee?

Stripe's standard Australian card processing fee is 1.75% + $0.30 per transaction. This is deducted from the club's payout (not added to the sponsor's charge) unless the sponsor chooses to cover it. Example: on a $500 sponsorship, the processing fee is $9.05, so the club receives $490.95 by default — or $500 if the sponsor ticked "Cover the processing fee" at checkout.

How does the 14-day holding period work?

All sponsorship funds are held for 14 days after purchase to protect against fraud and chargebacks. After the holding period, funds are automatically released to the club's Stripe-connected bank account. SponsorBridge deducts no commission at any point.
